It was Medal day for our 9-hole ladies at Queenstown Golf Club, with every shot counting and the odd putt no doubt receiving a little extra attention!

Leading the way was Megan James, who produced a lovely net 32 to take first place and collect $15. A very tidy effort and a great result!

There was a close tussle for second, with Melanie Henderson and Abbe Moffatt both finishing on net 33, while Cisca McNay wasn't far behind to claim fourth.

Today's Medal Prize Winners

Putting – A Countback Needed!

A special congratulations to Nan Mavor, who took out Least Putts with just 15, winning on countback from Dot Williamson.

That's some very tidy work on the greens, ladies! When it comes down to a countback over putts, every single one really does matter.

Nan collected $10 for her putting efforts.

Well Played, Ladies!

Congratulations to Megan, Melanie, Abbe and Cisca on their Medal performances, and to Nan for winning the putting battle.

A lovely little 9-hole competition, some close scoring and a reminder that you don't need 18 holes to have a good day out on the course.

Well played, everyone – may the putts keep dropping and those scorecards keep looking tidy!
