Tuesday's Ladies 9 Hole Stableford produced some absolutely scorching scores, with the leaderboard so stacked that a very respectable 20 Stableford points wasn't even enough to sneak into the prize money!
To those who posted 20 points and walked away empty-handed... our sincerest apologies. On most Tuesdays that would have you comfortably collecting some winnings, but today the golfing gods demanded something extra. It's a harsh reminder that winter golf at Queenstown is becoming a very competitive business!
Leading the charge was Leonie Williamson, who produced a sensational 26-point round to leave the rest of the field chasing shadows. Sue Knowles followed with an excellent 23 points, while Carolyn Rooney and Sue Gain couldn't be separated on 22 points. Behind them, another trio of players posted 21 points to round out an exceptionally high-quality leaderboard.

Special Prizes
Nearest to the Pin – Hole 2
Leonie Williamson – $20 Life Pharmacy Wilkinson's Voucher
Leonie's winning score was built on more than just consistency. Her fantastic approach shot on the 2nd hole finished closest to the pin, earning her the Life Pharmacy Wilkinson's Nearest to the Pin Voucher, and she also converted the opportunity into a two. It's fair to say those extra bonus points played a pretty handy role in helping her race away to 26 points!
Longest Putt – Hole 9
Dezlee Risby – $25 Neat Meat Voucher
As has become something of a tradition, the Longest Putt competition wasn't decided until the final hole. Dezlee Risby saved one of the best moments of the day for last, calmly rolling in a slippery downhill putt on the 9th green. It's never an easy putt to judge, but Dezlee got the pace absolutely spot on to claim the Neat Meat Voucher and finish her round with a well-earned smile.
Congratulations to all of our prize winners and to everyone who took part. If today's scoring is anything to go by, winter golf is certainly heating up. Just remember… next time you think 20 points is a safe score, think again!
